About the Round Corners

Rounded corners are the default language of modern UI. This tool clips your image with anti-aliased corner arcs and outputs a transparent PNG ready for cards, avatars and app assets — at 50% radius a square becomes a perfect circle.

How it works

A rounded-rectangle mask composites over your image: pixels outside the radius become genuinely transparent, not white. The slider goes from subtle 8px softening to full pill/circle shapes, and the result is the asset style every modern interface expects.

How to use it

Drop one image, drag the radius slider while previewing, then download the rounded PNG. Smaller images look best with proportionally smaller radii.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB; single-image sessions; output is PNG with alpha so the corners stay transparent on any background. For square sources at max radius you get a circle — same math as the circle crop tool.

Common use cases

Making app icons and UI thumbnails, rounding screenshots for documentation so they match your docs' border radius, prepping avatar frames, and softening product images inside card layouts.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server when I use Round Corners?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which input formats does Round Corners accept?

Common formats are covered: JPG, PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. Paste from the clipboard, drag and drop, or use the select button.

What are the size and batch limits?

One image is processed per run, up to 30 MB — and you can run it as many times as you like. No signup, no counters, and no watermark on results.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

The controls cover Corner radius. Nothing is baked in until you press the action button, and every run gives you a fresh preview to check.
