About the Add Background Color

Beyond white: set your transparent PNG on brand colors, soft pastels or deep darks. A live color picker means you can match exact brand hex values — then export as PNG (lossless) or JPEG (compact).

How it works

Your transparent image composites over a solid canvas of any color you choose — brand palette, pastel, deep dark — with output as PNG (keeps nothing transparent) or JPEG (smaller). It's the color-anything sibling of the white-background tool.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 transparent files, pick your background color with the picker, choose output format, and process. Preview each result against its new backdrop, then download individually or zipped.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per batch. Dark backgrounds reveal pale halos around anti-aliased edges that white hides — preview on your actual target color before committing.

Common use cases

Creating brand-colored social graphics from logo files, making themed avatar backgrounds, matching marketplace or storefront background requirements, and generating consistent-background icon sets from transparent sources.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my images processed?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Can it open JPG, PNG and WebP files?

The common formats are covered — PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. Queue them one batch at a time.

How many images can I process at once?

Batch runs take up to 10 files at once (30 MB each). There's no account, no daily quota and no watermark — process as many batches as you need.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

Yes — settings include Background color, Output format. Each run regenerates the preview, so you can compare options before downloading.
