About the Hue Rotate

Hue rotation spins every color around the color wheel while preserving brightness and saturation — a one-slide route to creative grades. Shift +90° to turn greens blue, −60° for golden warmth, or 180° for an inverted-palette look.

How it works

The filter rotates every pixel's hue angle by the same amount around the color wheel while preserving saturation and lightness — which is why the image keeps its tonal structure while colors relocate. A full 360° returns you to the start; everything between is a legitimate grade.

How to use it

Add up to 10 images, drag the hue slider through the wheel while previewing, and process when a look lands. Download results individually or zipped together.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per batch. Skin tones shift with everything else — portraits at extreme angles look alien (sometimes the goal). PNG transparency is preserved through rotation.

Common use cases

Creating color variants of logos and illustrations without re-exporting from a design tool, fixing white-balance casts by rotating toward neutral, generating rainbow sets for A/B social testing, and stylizing game or UI assets.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my images processed?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which input formats does Hue Rotate accept?

Common formats are covered: JPG, PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. Paste from the clipboard, drag and drop, or use the select button.

What are the size and batch limits?

Up to 10 images per batch, 30 MB per file, and unlimited runs — no signup, no counters, and no watermark stamped on results.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

Yes — settings include Hue rotation. Each run regenerates the preview, so you can compare options before downloading.
