About the Vintage Filter

The vintage look layers four effects — warm sepia shift, softened contrast, subtle grain and edge vignette — the signature of aged film stocks. One slider scales the whole recipe, with toggles for the grain and vignette components.

How it works

The filter stacks four classic analog cues: a warm sepia-leaning tint, compressed contrast for that faded-print feel, procedural film grain, and an edge vignette. Each layer has its own control, so the look ranges from a light Instagram warmth to a full 1970s snapshot.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 images, set the overall strength, toggle grain and vignette to taste, and process. Preview the composite effect, adjust, and download individually or as a ZIP.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per batch. Grain adds real pixels (noise), so extremely low quality output can exaggerate it — WebP or PNG at decent quality keeps the texture looking intentional.

Common use cases

Theming wedding and event galleries, giving product and lifestyle shots a warm nostalgic pull, designing album covers and posters with film character, and unifying a mixed photo set into one cohesive retro mood.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server when I use Vintage Filter?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which file types are supported?

JPG, PNG or WEBP files up to 30 MB each are accepted. Drop in one file or a whole batch (paste and drag also work), check the preview, and export in the format shown at the download step.

How many images can I process at once?

There are no artificial limits: use it as often as you like, free. Practical caps are 30 MB per image and 10 files per batch, and outputs stay watermark-free.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

The controls cover Effect strength, Add vignette, Add film grain. Nothing is baked in until you press the action button, and every run gives you a fresh preview to check.
