About the Replace Color

Recolor graphics in seconds: pick the source color, the replacement, and how loosely to match. Tolerance handles anti-aliasing and gradient shades around the target — try 30% for flat art, raise it for photos. A designer favorite for producing colorway variants.

How it works

Every pixel within your tolerance of the 'from' color is rewritten to the 'to' color — the slider decides how similar a pixel must be to qualify. Low tolerance catches only the exact shade; higher values sweep in anti-aliased edges and natural shading variations.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 images, pick the source color (or sample it with the color picker first), choose the replacement, set tolerance, and process. Preview and download individually or as a ZIP.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per batch. Flat-color graphics replace cleanly; photos with gradual shading show a visible boundary at high tolerance — feathered workflows (chroma key then recolor) handle those better.

Common use cases

Generating logo color variants without design-tool round trips, previewing product colorways from a single photo, recoloring UI mockups and game sprites, and fixing one off-brand color in otherwise final artwork.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my images processed?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which file types are supported?

JPG, PNG or WEBP files up to 30 MB each are accepted. Drop in one file or a whole batch (paste and drag also work), check the preview, and export in the format shown at the download step.

How many images can I process at once?

There are no artificial limits: use it as often as you like, free. Practical caps are 30 MB per image and 10 files per batch, and outputs stay watermark-free.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

Yes — settings include Color to replace, Replacement color, Matching tolerance. Each run regenerates the preview, so you can compare options before downloading.
