About the Quote Card

Quote cards are the most-shared content format on social media. This tool sets your quote in elegant serif type with smart line wrapping, a large quotation mark, optional author line, and a background overlay that keeps text readable on any photo.

How it works

The tool composites your quote in an elegant serif face over your background image, adds the author attribution beneath, and optionally applies a color overlay between photo and text so long quotes stay readable. Overlay color and opacity are yours to tune.

How to use it

Drop one background image, type the quote and author, enable the overlay if the photo is detailed, adjust its color and opacity, then render. Download the card and it's ready to post.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB; single-image sessions. Quieter backgrounds (soft focus, low contrast) make the strongest cards; the overlay rescues busier ones. Very long quotes may need smaller source text or a taller crop.

Common use cases

Daily quote posts for social media, podcast episode pull-quotes, book and article promotion cards, presentation openers, and memorial or celebration keepsakes that pair words with a meaningful photo.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server when I use Quote Card?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

What kind of image files work with this tool?

JPG, PNG or WEBP inputs are supported, up to 30 MB per file. For exotic formats, convert them first with one of the converter tools, then come back.

What are the size and batch limits?

This tool handles one image at a time (up to 30 MB). For batch work, use one of the multi-file tools instead — the per-image result is the same.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

The controls cover Quote, Author and 4 more controls. Nothing is baked in until you press the action button, and every run gives you a fresh preview to check.
