About the Caption Bar

Unlike overlays that cover your photo, the caption bar extends the canvas — a clean typographic strip with automatic word wrap. The classic look for blog cards, gallery exhibits and quoted screenshots.

How it works

The tool extends your image's canvas with a solid bar — below or above the photo, at your chosen height — and renders your caption inside it with automatic wrapping. The photo itself is untouched; the caption lives in new pixels, so nothing overlays your subject.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 images, type the caption, set bar height and pick top or bottom placement, choose background and text colors, then process. Results download individually or as a ZIP.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per batch. Output grows by the bar height; long captions may need a taller bar — increase it and re-run if text clips. One caption applies to the whole batch.

Common use cases

Cataloging photo libraries with consistent captions, creating documentation figures with figure numbers, building educational slides and worksheets, and giving social carousels a uniform captioned footer.

Frequently asked questions

How private is Caption Bar?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which input formats does Caption Bar accept?

Common formats are covered: JPG, PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. Paste from the clipboard, drag and drop, or use the select button.

What are the size and batch limits?

Up to 10 images per batch, 30 MB per file, and unlimited runs — no signup, no counters, and no watermark stamped on results.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

You can adjust Caption, Bar height and 3 more controls. Results are previewed after processing, so tweak values and re-run until the output looks right.
