About the Email Image Resizer

Email clients choke on multi-megabyte attachments. The sweet spot for embedded or attached photos is ~800px wide at quality 70 — around 80–150KB each. This preset processes your whole batch to those settings with one click.

How it works

The preset resizes each image so its longest edge is 800 pixels and re-encodes as JPEG at quality 70 — the proven sweet spot where photos stay pleasant on laptop screens while shrinking from megabytes to tens of kilobytes. Recipients on slow connections and strict corporate mail servers both thank you.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 photos and press process — the preset is deliberately opinionated. Adjust the dimension or quality sliders if your audience differs, check the before/after sizes, and download the batch as a ZIP ready to attach.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp inputs up to 30MB each; output is JPEG at your chosen size. Text in screenshots stays readable at 800px for most uses, but dense documents may need 1200px — raise the slider for those.

Common use cases

Built for photo-heavy emails: family updates, property tours to clients, progress reports with site photos, and anything headed for a 10MB or 25MB attachment ceiling. It's also a polite habit for mailing lists where oversized images get stripped.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my images processed?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

Which input formats does Email Image Resizer accept?

Common formats are covered: JPG, PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. Paste from the clipboard, drag and drop, or use the select button.

What are the size and batch limits?

Up to 10 images per batch, 30 MB per file, and unlimited runs — no signup, no counters, and no watermark stamped on results.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

Yes — settings include Max dimension, Quality. Each run regenerates the preview, so you can compare options before downloading.
