About the Resize to Dimensions

When a platform demands exact dimensions, choose your strategy: cover crops the overflow, contain pads with your chosen color, stretch distorts to fit. This is the power-tool version of resizing for template slots and marketplace listings.

How it works

When the output must be exactly W×H, aspect ratios have to be reconciled somehow — that's what the fit modes are for. Cover scales up and center-crops the overflow; contain fits everything inside and pads the remainder with your chosen background color; stretch ignores ratio entirely and fills the frame.

How to use it

Drop up to 10 images, enter width and height, pick a fit mode (and pad color for contain), choose an output format, then process. The preview shows precisely how each image lands in the frame before you download.

Supported formats & limitations

Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per run. PNG output preserves the padding as transparency if you pick a transparent-friendly workflow; JPEG fills padded areas with the solid color you selected.

Common use cases

The tool for rigid specs: app store screenshots, ad placements with fixed slots, thumbnail grids, print templates and CMS featured-image fields that demand exact dimensions regardless of source shape.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server when I use Resize to Dimensions?

Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.

What kind of image files work with this tool?

JPG, PNG or WEBP inputs are supported, up to 30 MB per file. For exotic formats, convert them first with one of the converter tools, then come back.

What are the size and batch limits?

You can queue 10 files per run, each up to 30 MB. Results download individually or bundled as a single ZIP.

Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?

The controls cover Width, Height and 3 more controls. Nothing is baked in until you press the action button, and every run gives you a fresh preview to check.
