Pinterest Pin Resizer — 1000×1500
Resize images to Pinterest pin size 1000×1500 (2:3). Optimal vertical pins that get saves.
About the Pinterest Pin
Export any picture at exactly 1000×1500 px — the Pinterest pin (2:3) spec. Choose cover to crop the frame full-bleed or contain to letterbox your image with a padding color, then download results one by one or as a ZIP (up to 10 files per run).
How it works
The tool fits your image into exactly 1000×1500 pixels — Pinterest's recommended 2:3 pin ratio that dominates smart-feed tiles. Cover center-crops vertical-friendly; contain pads wide sources over your background color. Both keep you inside the platform's ratio guidelines.
How to use it
Add up to 10 images, pick cover or contain with a pad color, and process. Preview each pin, then download the batch ready for scheduling.
Supported formats & limitations
Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB each, 10 per run. Square sources crop top and bottom at 2:3; landscape sources pad heavily — portrait photography and tall graphics are the natural fit.
Common use cases
Blog post pins, recipe and DIY cards, product pins for shops, and infographic promos. Batch mode converts a whole seasonal content set to pin geometry before scheduling.
Frequently asked questions
What dimensions does pinterest pin use?
Exactly 1000×1500 px — the size the platform expects. Pick cover to crop the frame full-bleed, or contain to letterbox with padding instead of cropping.
How big is 1000×1500 px in centimeters?
There's no fixed cm value — screens pack pixels differently. As a print reference, 1000×1500 px equals roughly 8.5×12.7 cm (3.33×5.00 in) at the 300 DPI print standard.
Should I pick cover or contain fit?
Cover crops inward until the image fills 1000×1500 — great for photos. Contain scales the whole picture down and pads the leftover space with your chosen color — better for screenshots, logos and artwork.
Does batch resizing work for pinterest pin?
Yes, up to 10 images per run all receive the same 1000×1500 treatment. Grab the whole set as one ZIP or download files individually.
