Straighten Crooked Photos
Fix tilted horizons with fine ±15° correction and smart zoom-fill that hides the corners. Gallery-quality leveling.
About the Straighten Image
A crooked horizon ruins a great shot. This straightener rotates by fine 0.5° steps and intelligently zooms just enough that the rotation never reveals empty corners — the same technique pro editors use, running on your device in real time.
How it works
You nudge the angle while watching a live preview; the tool rotates and, when zoom-fill is on, scales the image just enough that no empty corners show — the classic straighten-without-cropping-look. Small angles cost almost no quality because the resample is gentle.
How to use it
Drop one image, drag the angle slider in tenths of a degree until the horizon sits level in the preview, keep zoom-fill enabled for a full-bleed result, then process and download.
Supported formats & limitations
Accepts .jpg, .png and .webp up to 30MB; single-image editing. Beyond about 5°, zoom-fill starts cropping noticeably into the frame — for bigger corrections, crop afterward or shoot straighter next time (easier said than done).
Common use cases
The most common photo fix there is: sea horizons, architectural lines, scanned documents scanned slightly askew, and table-top product shots. One slider beats opening a heavyweight editor for a two-degree correction.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my images processed?
Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Your picture never leaves your machine — there is no upload step at all, so processing is as private as working in an offline editor.
Can it open JPG, PNG and WebP files?
The common formats are covered — JPG, PNG or WEBP, each up to 30 MB. One photo is processed per run.
How many images can I process at once?
Files can be up to 30 MB each, one per run. There's no account, no daily quota and no watermark — process as many images as you need, one after another.
Can I fine-tune the result before downloading?
Yes — settings include Correction angle, Zoom to hide corners. Each run regenerates the preview, so you can compare options before downloading.
How much can I rotate to straighten a photo?
The slider covers ±15° in 0.5° steps — typically enough for tilted horizons, which rarely exceed a few degrees. Zoom-fill scales the frame up just enough to hide the corners that appear when the image rotates, so the straightened result stays rectangular.
